Yasham Foundation

We at Yasham Foundation believe that education is the first and most crucial foundation for an exemplary life and that every child deserves a chance at life irrespective of his or her background. Our Vision is to educate, enlighten and empower future generations through holistic education. We aim to do this by employing a multi-faceted approach to alleviate the multidimensional poverty in India. Our five main target areas are education, followed by Healthcare, Women Empowerment, Youth Mobilisation, and Community enrichment. Since its inception, Yasham has educated 550 students, alleviated 500 families and assisted around 600 women from all across the country through a range of programmes like - 1. Centre Model- Our foundation runs a centre model in schools like NSS, RMM and G.D. Somani wherein we teach basic English, Mathematics and Science besides inculcating fundamental moral values and the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. 2. Saathi Haath Badhana- A program to help women learn sewing /crochet /paper and cloth bag making which makes them financially stronger and generates self-confidence to have better self-esteem. 3. Sunn Zara- a global mentoring program for the youth and women from the slum communities 4. Swachh Clean English Mission- is directed towards teaching English online by conducting mini-classrooms across the country. 5. Hum Honge Kamyab- is a program that focuses on Competitive Academic, Vocational, Skill and Semi-skilled courses with an underlying aim to provide detailed career guidance and counselling. By making Education one of our prime areas of focus, we work towards making this world a better place and ensuring the well-being of every section of society.
