YBBP founded in 2007 by former NFL and IMG Executive Ronald Buys is providing management, sales and marketing solutions to the elite sports market. His specialties are strategic development and driving the commercial- and financial success of organisations, clubs and events. Recently Buys successfuly supported Dutch professional soccer club MVV Maastricht in a financial, strategical and organizational restructuring. YBBP’s intelligent approach for getting 'butts in seats' sets it apart from the establishment. Poster project of the company is the marketing and sales of the UEFA Women European Championship. YBBP has been leading bids for EC Volleyball, EC Indoor Athletics and WC Triathlon and audited budget and results for EC and WC event organization. Previously, for IMG Ronald Buys's business stretched from public and private companies to international sport organisations. His key projects were trade missions to NY and the Olympic Games in China, the commercial development of the Volvo Ocean Race, various Dutch professional soccer organisations, and the Dutch second tier soccer league. YBBP's DNA was formed in the NFL Europe through creating NFL standard facilities and driving the commercial- and financial success of the Amsterdam Admirals. With his team Buys developed an innovative template for sports marketing and instigated several new sponsorships, as well as a firm grassroots- and community service program and several strategic media alliances to get 'butts in seats' in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Outside work Ronald Buys had an active career in sports. In American Football he won European titles with the Amsterdam Crusaders in 1991 and 1992. Successively he made the switch to bobsleigh and participated in World Cup and the 1995 World Championship races. Buys did one Olympic tour as President of the Dutch Bobsleigh Federation from 2002 to 2006. For Dutch television he is NFL commentator since 1999, currently acting as NFL analyst for ESPN.
