YBE (2) Pty Ltd is one of the largest Aboriginal companies in Australia in terms of both assets and revenue. We are a privately owned Yolngu Business Enterprise. The company was created to ensure that the development of North East Arnhem Land’s resources are shared, and add value to the lives of all Yolngu people of the region. From humble beginnings as the Yirrkala Brickworks in 1968, YBE (2) Pty Ltd has grown and diversified into a highly successful service operation employing over 80 employees in Civil, Haulage, Environmental and Workshop areas. YBE conducts itself professionally in all its activities, with sound management, good business practices and the formation of strategic alliances, working towards the goal of excellent service. We have a permanent facility which includes our main administration office, workshop and training facility based in Nhulunbuy to support our work in East Arnhem. We also has a facility in Gapuwiyak to support the HMO contract for NT Government. We have performed contracted services throughout Arnhem land, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
