YDMD Studio is a creative studio based between Shanghai & London, established in 2019. Cultivating an ongoing exploration of materiality, technique, function and meaning, we investigate these notions through university education, curation and contemporary craft. Our practice focuses on experimental problem-solving intertwined with shaping new challenges. Our creative approach - always in dialogue with objects, is built on the admiration of all the whimsy and thoughtfulness that goes into creating them.
