FOUNDATION YDROFILI firm was founded in 1983 in Thessaloniki by Christos Pertsemlidis, Civil and Environmental Engineer, and Nikos Pertsemlidis, Mechanical Engineer. ACTIVITIES Company's main activities are study, planning, construction, operation and restoration of facilities associated with: Drinking water treatment Waste water and sewage treatment Waste management Restoration and aftercare of old landfills Dosing - measurement - regulation systems applied to the environment and industry NEW APPLICATIONS Except for the great experience in these sensitive sectors, the company shows a continual interest in scientific developments and supports new environmental technologies. In particular, the last few years, company's activities also include cleaning, inspection, video recording, mapping and damage repair without excavation in water supply, sewage and rainwater sewage systems. The company has also been equipped with the state-of-art in special machinery, manufactured for that kind of operations, thus providing solutions to all network problems efficiently and in a cost-effective manner. The cleaning of grease, sediments, tree roots, solid wastes etc is carried out by special machinery, using pressurized water. A remote controlled microcamera is used in order to inspect the inside of the pipe. Network inspection and mapping is achieved by processing the video data. Thus, it is easy to detect poor workmanship, possible damages and illegal pipe fittings with great accuracy. Damage repair is carried out exactly in the area where the problem exists, saving time and money.
