YEOBID IS A RETAIL AND TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE ESTABLISHED WITH THE PURPOSE TO "EMPOWER CONSUMERS." Today's customer has myriad choices/destinations when it comes to research to buy merchandise. But each such destination is fraught with limitations - The offline stores, which are unbeatable when it comes to touch-feel and trust fall short of displaying an unlimited assortment, given the real estate limitations - At the online stores, one gets pretty much an endless aisle experience, and some extent of technology driven personalization too. But one pretty much gets what the store has to offer, and we terribly miss the smiling store associate to help us navigate through the expansive assortment At Yeobid we aim to fight these limitations of the offline and the online, and bring them together to synergize and give us customers the true shopping experience, right in our digital devices. And just how do we do it? At Yeobid we get the best of online and offline in one place: Our PRICE DISCOVERY ENGINE - When a customer is browsing for products we provide the one-stop shop for price comparisons and ratings/reviews for products. Ours is a location aware service that will pull the best possible prices from both the online and the offline worlds and also the product ratings/reviews and present the same to the consumer. At this point the customer will have known the best possible price that he can get without any negotiations. Our PRICE DEFINITION ENGINE - In the purchase decision stage, we aim to bring the control back to the consumer. Just like we are provided bids/quotes in the services world, retailers (offline and online) will quote to the customer and the best price will win. Customers can chat and negotiate real-time with multiple retailers before choosing who to buy from. We bring the entire price determination experience into the user's phone. Currently focused on electronics we are soon planning to launch in other business verticals.
