Youth Foundry Network | YFN

Youth Foundry Network (YFN) is a modular program aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs with essential skills through a combination of theory, practical experience, and real-world exposure. We connect university students with the startup ecosystem through a systematic nationwide framework designed to address the existing gap between universities and startup opportunities, particularly for institutions outside Colombo. With a vision to unlock the entrepreneurial potential of Sri Lanka’s youth, YFN offers a dynamic platform where students can develop vital skills, foster innovation, and establish meaningful connections with industry leaders, mentors, peers, and the startup ecosystem. By providing tools and resources inspired by globally recognized incubation and acceleration programs, YFN prepares students to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape and contribute to Sri Lanka’s expanding startup ecosystem. Our network operates through a structured curriculum and regular programs, supported by ICTA as a government partner and Generation ALPHA as the leading organizing body. YFN's unique approach to entrepreneurship development in universities ensures consistent, long-term engagement rather than isolated events, aiming to provide equal access to startup resources and opportunities for Sri Lankan youth all university students nationwide.
