YICF (Yayasan Internasional Cahaya Fajar)

YICF is a local organization with global connections. We create opportunities for people, regardless of circumstances, to learn, work, and become agents of kindness and compassion. Our mission is to help people experience and share the joy of learning, the dignity of vocation, and strength through community. Today, over 500 children, youth, and adults in the greater Jakarta area participate in YICF programs, and over 100 individuals from many nationalities are involved in our work as staff, leaders, and volunteers. Our program participants include resilient refugees and asylum seekers of all ages, children of hard-working waste-pickers at Bantar Gebang, and young adults eager to discover their place in the world.
