Chinese medicine practitioners Angela Chau Gray and Dr. Ervina Wu founded YINA with the mission of demystifying Chinese medicine and helping more people root their modern wellness rituals in traditional wisdom. "YINA" means harmony and beauty, which we believe go hand-in-hand. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is one of the oldest forms of medicine, anchored in the concept of holistic healing through prevention and bodily attunement. It seeks to restore our connection with nature, because living out of tune with it goes against our very being. Chinese medicine maintains the philosophy of seeing and treating the human person as a radiating, energetic whole rather than a sum of separate parts. The modern notions of mind-body-nature connection and balance are wellness concepts that TCM has been advocating for more than 2500 years.
