YINNOH (Youth Innovation Hub)

YINNOH, derived from "Youth Innovation Hub," is an EU co-founded organization dedicated to unleashing the untapped economic potential of refugees and marginalized individuals in Uganda, with a future ambitions to expand into Eastern Africa and other regions. Since 2021, YINNOH has transformed the lives of over 1,000 youths and women, enabling many to launch their own social enterprises or secure impactful jobs. In collaboration with 8+ local and international organizations, YINNOH has delivered transformative programs and free learning spaces to over 78,000 refugees in the Rwamwanja settlement. Our cutting-edge initiatives are designed to turn the settlement into a dynamic hub of innovation and culture. We believe that all refugees, women, and marginalized youth can convert their life and community challenges into powerful social opportunities. Our mentors, trainers, and life coaches, all program alumni, pass on their expertise through our unique self-management structure. This system allows YINNOH scholars to co-fill key organizational roles, gaining invaluable practical experience and leadership skills. Those who show a keen interest in joining the YINNOH board undergo an intensive six to nine-month Fellowship Learning Journey, equipping them to lead YINNOH and drive sustainable change.
