Dr. Yugal Karkhur has an extensive experience of 12 plus years in the field of Orthopaedics & joint replacement surgery. He has completed his MS in Orthopaedics from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and has worked at Delhi Government’s largest hospital; Lok Nayak Hospital and Sushruta Trauma Centre as a Senior registrar for 3 years. During this phase of his life, he attended to a large number of patients with complex trauma cases and various other bone and joint related conditions.
Over the years, he developed a keen interest in management of knee and hip conditions and delivering high standards of orthopaedic care through non- surgical and surgical treatment options for the betterment and comfort of the patients. He is a fellowship certified hip and knee replacement surgeon and has completed his Fellowship in joint replacement surgery and Adult hip reservation surgery from Missouri Orthopaedic Institute, Missouri, USA.
He has also received thorough training in arthroscopic surgeries of shoulder and knee joints at Sports Injury Center, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. With his passion for orthopaedics, he has been pursuing his interest in the field of joint replacement, he completed his Clinical Fellowship at Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi and continued as an Associate consultant there for 2 consecutive years. During his last 3 years of practice, Dr. Yugal has had associations with renowned hospital and clinics like CK Birla Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital and Orthocure Clinics Pvt Ltd. He is currently working as a Consultant, Orthopaedics and joint replacement surgery at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram.
