About Yusra Mardini Foundation
The Yusra Mardini Foundation uses sport as a tool for integration and health care for refugees worldwide. As a refugee-led NGO, we take new approaches to implementing sport and education projects that focus on the people and the realities on the ground. We engage with our partners with a particular focus on mental health and safeguarding in sport to promote positive change for participants. In our work, the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect are very important to us and we follow the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
