Green transition: IDA must take more responsibility in society for the green transition by bringing facts into the public debate, gathering actors to identify concrete solutions, and being a think tank for technology-based visions and constraints. When using the collective experience of our members, we possess the interdisciplinary technical knowledge to identify the crucial necessary actions. IDA must have the courage to raise its voice, even if it is unpopular or controversial. Ethics in tech: IDA should safeguard the right to digital privacy and dignified algorithms. Today, practice and regulations are a mayhem. IDA must be an active voice in public debate and through advocacy, analyses, and recommendations for policy improve ethics in technology development. The future of work-life is more flexible: To many, the future of working life includes flexibility for family, hobbies, and life-long learning. IDA must continuously support members in shaping their working life, ensuring such flexibility alongside with solid working conditions, including the right to part-time work. Your life-long career coach: Many IDA members desire challenges and development opportunities in their work life, whilst very few can oversee the myriad of options. Our association must ensure an ability to present tailor-made suggestions to each individual member, based on dialogue and data. IDA must be your career coach for life, suggesting valuable options you might overlook.
