The Young Orators Club of Secunderabad (YOCS)

All the former members and current members of this wonderful oratory club (only in Secunderabad). The Young Orators Club of Secunderabad (YOCS) stands on pillars of thinkers, knowledge, oratory and experience. Strongly believing in its motto “Cogitas Veritas” which means “to think truthfully”, YOCS has always encouraged understanding and looking at various issues with differently colored lenses. The sessions stimulate a mental journey which is often challenging. From Kautilya to Camus, Ayn Rand to Ingmar Bergman, Descartes to Phaedrus, YOCS has been home to discussion on varied topics. Mundane matters like nuclear disarmament, neo-colonialism and reservations often find their way to the session, as well. Oration is the art of speaking – and speaking so that an audience really listens. Over the years, members of YOCS have designed and evolved sessions that help speakers master this elusive skill.
