Our Trust provides food, clothing, shelter, and medical facilities to the destitute elderly women, mainly widows, in and around Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.
Isolation and invisibility are what have come to define elderly women in India. With a population of 53 million and rising, the majority of these women reside in rural areas in dismal conditions. They
are abused and abandoned due to lack of income or assets, physical dependency, migration, and socio-cultural norms following their husband’s death.
The Yogananda Trust started its operations in Vrindavan to bridge this gap by providing urgent support to deprived elderly women.
Widow Welfare (benefiting around 4,338 every month)
• Providing daily ration, milk & vegetables
• Complete medical care & help including surgeries, physiotherapy
• Operate four care homes (Ashrams) to take care of the very aged and infirm Mothers
• Provide rent support to many other Mothers who live in the community
• Active ageing program, healing prayers, meditation

Transforming Healthcare for the economically weaker section in Vrindavan (Free Medical Care for the economically weaker section, irrespective of age, with no means to afford healthcare, in and around the city of Vrindavan benefitting around 3,951 every month)
