YOGI is a youth-led, non-profit organization dedicated to addressing India's most pressing climate and ecological challenges. We stand at the intersection of environmental sustainability, social equity, and youth empowerment, working towards a greener and more resilient future for all. Our mission is to harness the energy and creativity of young people to drive sustainable change. Through ecological restoration, climate action, and community upliftment, we aim to empower youth and communities with the tools and resources needed to protect natural resources and build resilience against climate impacts. We envision YOGI as the leading platform for young Indians to engage in climate advocacy, research, and sustainable development. Our goal is to foster youth leadership that drives transformative policies, education, and grassroots action across diverse ecosystems, from rivers to cities, ensuring that every community is equipped to adapt to climate change. YOGI’s unique approach bridges rural and urban divides, integrates traditional knowledge with modern innovation and places youth at the forefront of decision-making. Our programs are designed to ensure community-driven change, using research, multimedia storytelling, and collaborative partnerships to amplify our impact. Since our inception, we have empowered over 1,500 young individuals, influenced key policy changes, restored ecological areas, and trained communities in climate resilience. We continue to strive for an inclusive, data-driven approach to monitor our progress and create lasting change. At YOGI, we are more than an organization—we are a movement.
