Welcome to Yogshala - The School of Yoga | L'école de Yoga, where we believe in returning to the roots of yoga and embracing its true essence. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Montreal, Yogshala was born out of a passion for sharing the authentic practices of yoga, as they were originally discovered and intended. Our journey began with a vision to counter the commercialization of yoga that has diluted its profound impact. We wanted to create a sanctuary where individuals can experience the transformative power of genuine yoga, free from the pressures of flexibility or preconceived notions about what yoga should be. In collaboration with Belair Suites & letsyoga.org, we established Yogshala to offer yoga, a holistic experience that encompasses luxury, comfort, and a serene ambiance. We believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of their physical abilities. Whether you're sitting cross-legged for a few moments or engaging in more advanced postures, you're practicing yoga. Our mission is to reintroduce authentic yoga to the Western world, providing a space where individuals can connect with themselves and find balance in their lives. At Yogshala, we offer a variety of courses and subscription classes designed to cater to different needs and schedules, all held in an inviting atmosphere from 6-8 pm. As part of our commitment to holistic wellness, we also provide nourishing meals for some of our courses, understanding that true health extends beyond the mat.
