Yokai

Yokai are mythical creatures and spirits from Japanese folklore. They can be mischievous or dangerous, kind or menacing, and can even bring good fortune to those who encounter them. Inspired by Japanese izakaya culture, the bar + restaurant Yokai is a meeting place for friends to catch up and have a few laughs in a casual setting while enjoying cool cocktails, hot ramen, crisp beers, crunchy Korean fried chicken, refreshing sakes, grilled skewers, warming whisky, and a variety of other tasty, fun eats that complement the drinks. Literally translating to “a place to relax and drink,” izakaya are a melting pot of flavors, cultures, and tastes where everyone is welcome. We invite you to Yokai to try our own fun twist on a variety of dishes inspired by bar fare and street food you might find in Japan, Korea, China, and around the world, with a few completely unique creations of our own.
