The York Negotiation Society, founded in 2017, and operating as a core element to law and non-law students at the University of York, exists to hone students’ skills in dispute resolution, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
Through the academic year, members are invited to embark on a bespoke training curriculum, engage in competition with universities across the country, and enjoy social and educational opportunities provided by their Committee.
Our most important project, the annual York Intervarsity Negotiation Tournament has been in operation for several years, and brings together universities, lecturers, and students in competitions testing their negotiation styles and sensibilities.
