Yorkshire Dama Cheese is an inspirational tale of two cultures and of overcoming adversity. We manufacture squeaky cheese in Yorkshire! From 100% British cow's milk, salt and vegetarian rennet with no additives, or preservatives. Our Squeaky Cheese achieved many awards in such a short time, including the Golden Prize for the World Cheese Award 2015-16, the Silver British Cheese Award 2016, Best Cheese in Yorkshire 2016 and appointed by HRH The Princess Royal as we've been honoured opening our factory in Sowerby Bridge by her presence. We are still working as hard as we can to grow the business and the brand, the start was not so easy, particularly when we had just arrived from a completely different country to the UK. Some people thought we were crazy, others thought it couldn't be done. But we are proving them all wrong and have been rising to the challenge of creating the best tasting halum brand every day for the past 8 years!
