HISTORY M. R. ULRICH ENGINEERING, a consulting practice, was established in 1983 by Mitchell R. Ulrich to provide structural and mechanical engineering services to area industries. A merger with the former EKJ Design & Drafting, Inc. in business since 1980 resulted in M. R. ULRICH Engineering, Inc. a firm with expanded capabilities utilizing the very latest in computer technologies. In 2014 a successor firm, YOUNG & ULRICH ENGINEERING, INC. with Daniel N.
