Young Creators Leuven

- Network - Our creative community regularly gathers for in-person meeting between creators. On events we invite all sorts of young external creatives to join us. It’s a great opportunity to exchange ideas, collaborate, and learn from each other. We bring together a diverse group of people, from artists, designers to videographers, event organizers and marketing managers in the city center of Leuven. These gatherings are intended to create a space where everyone gets inspired, develops new skills, and discovers fresh perspectives. - Inspire - We notice that by bringing together creatives from different fields of expertise, we inspire each other to start new projects, leading to interesting collaborations that put the Leuven region on the map. Projects usually emerge with a social focus and when several creatives share a common vision. - Learn - We invite speakers and organize keynotes. These presentations are a great opportunity to gain new ideas. People from the community can also present their own projects or propose a project idea they want to further develop and expand. YCL facilitates these gatherings because it's not always easy for creatives to tackle projects alone. That's why we provide opportunities for creatives to collaborate on small and more ambitious projects. During our meetings, we bring people together and develop new concepts. Members offer support and tips where possible. Each project is individually assessed for its development and direction. Many projects eventually progress further in mini-groups outside our regular meetings.
