Young Leaders Mentorship Program

It has become very evident that when young leaders have access to responsible adult role models from within their own communities, it helps create an indelible impact on their development. The Young Leaders Mentorship Program (YLMP) therefore aims to provide an interactive platform for networking between mentors and mentees, and to promote a global culture of development of mentorship relationships. The main aim of the program is to give young individuals an opportunity to network with professionals, and for them to receive guidance that will allow them to make conscious decisions in respect of their personal and professional development. The program hopes to make a difference in the community, and not just a mere tick-box exercise. Early development and continuous mentoring are important in the lives of our youth and this program seeks to fill that gap by finding dedicated mentors that have the time and capacity to develop and expose mentees to a diverse spectrum of work available in their field of study, as well as help identify career paths and support personal growth.
