About UWC Investment Society

The Young Investors Programme (YIP) is an accelerated learning programme that aims to bridge the gap between the theoretical knowledge obtained at university and the practical aspect required by the investment industry. YIP is affiliated with the School of Business & Finance at the University of the Western Cape and is sponsored by Coronation Fund Managers. The programme was established in July 2016 by a group of Finance Honours students who felt the need for practical exposure to the finance & investment industry.
