About Young Writers UK

We aim to promote poetry and creative writing in children aged 5-18 by offering free resources to teachers, parents and writers. Our competitions give young writers the opportunity to develop their skills and see their work in a published book! At Young Writers UK we've been working with schools, parents and young writers across the world since 1991. Our resources include writing tips, newsletters, lesson plans and activities to inspire children to develop their creative writing abilities and fall in love with literacy. Our competitions are for children of all ages and are free to enter.
