This is our third venture into being a national builder along side Exquisite Custom Homes which is our high end product line and Nelson's Construction our multi-family, hotel / motel and student housing product line.
This company is going to be taking a direct shot at the big three builders (Horton, Lennar and Pulte) and other large builders like them that for years have ripped off the American home buyer with pathetic home plans, zero design effort, a choice of having the garage on the left or right and roll the die (yes singular as they don't have more than six options) on which shade of gray you get. And then we can talk about their disposable house theory where the house is trash after just 20 years when their mandatory warranty runs out.
Yes, this is a massive undertaking but a fight worth fighting. We wont be fighting it alone though we will be fighting it with the builders that are members of Custom Home Builders of America. Combine that with the next phase of buying materials direct from the manufactures and keeping the mark ups at a very minimum level just enough to cover the cost of warehousing and distribution and shipping materials straight to the builders per home build.
We are not only going to give the America home buyer back the choice of their home plan but we are going to deliver a home that will last for more than 100 years and at a rate that is substantially below the national builders.
