Your Crescent Moon

Your Crescent Moon is the first NGO in China dedicated to providing remote sexual education courses for girls in rural areas. Incubated from a university entrepreneurship project, we currently run three ongoing volunteer programs: 1. Domestic Violence Advocacy: We connect victims with authoritative legal organizations, offering free psychological and legal consultation services through volunteers. 2. Girls’ Growth Program: In partnership with professional nonprofit organizations and rural middle schools in Sichuan Province, we provide a series of courses covering sexual education, career education, and life skills for young girls. 3. Media Outreach: We actively engage in discussions, advocacy, and the promotion of feminism, practicing feminist principles through our communication efforts. After 4 years of growth, we have built a core team of 15 project managers, engaged over 250 volunteers, and delivered more than 120 teaching hours across six semesters. We have established long-term partnerships with 3 middle schools, reaching a social media exposure of 50,000 views. Our achievements include: • Won 2023 Tencent Chartiy Fund and Public Welfare Venture Support Program’s “Creative Group” Award. • National Second Prize for the “Future Entrepreneurs Award” at the 2024 “Empowering the Future • Innovation Conference.” • Special Award for the “Her Strength” theme.
