Your Mate Community Services (YMCS) is a Melbourne-based disability support provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We work alongside people with disabilities to promote independence, build capacity, and ensure genuine community inclusion. Our mission is to support individuals to live life on their own terms, empowered, respected, and connected. We recognise that every person’s journey is unique, and we tailor our supports to honour their goals, preferences, and lived experiences. Our approach is holistic, culturally sensitive, and grounded in dignity, choice, and compassion. We offer a wide range of NDIS-funded supports, including: -Community participation: Building social connections and accessing meaningful activities in the community -In-home support: Assistance with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care -Supported Independent Living (SIL): 24/7 support in shared or individual living arrangements -Respite and Short-Term Accommodation (STA): Temporary care to support participants and give carers a break -Transport assistance: Helping participants get to appointments, activities, or social outings -Support coordination: Helping participants understand and implement their NDIS plan -Skills development: Supporting participants to build life skills such as cooking, budgeting, communication, and decision-making Whether you need a little help or a lot, Your Mate Community Services is here to walk beside you, supporting one mate at a time, with a mate you can truly count on.
