Y Skills Institute

Y Skills Institute is a research center in California founded in 2016. It is working on a body of knowledge that includes a coherent set of mental models and practices from different disciplines and mindsets. It strives to equip everyone with the key skills to achieve high results in every area of life. Our aim is to develop and promote effective thinking and learning, as well as to make them an integral part of any intellectual activitiy. By 2040, it is predicted that robots will perform forty-five percent of all work, and a half of the jobs we currently have won’t exist any longer. Only intellectually skilled workers will have well-paid jobs. That is why we have to be on our toes if we want to have a decent job and a successful career. People will need to able to interact with information, to think critically, to be self-disciplined and to be more efficient in everything to compete with automation. For this to be done, we will have to upgrade our knowledge every ten years, which would mean going to universities more than once in our lifetime. Y Skills Institute was created to help everyone manage their time wisely, broaden their outlook, become self-aware and able to set goals so that they can achieve any target they have set up for themselves.
