The young Spanish molecular imaging network (ySMIN) is a pioneering molecular imaging community in Spain that aims to promote the formation of a network of young scientists working in the field of molecular imaging. ySMIN welcomes researchers working in all imaging modalities and will offer MSc/PhD students and early career post-docs an easy and friendly entry into the imaging community. In this sense, SMIN pursues to attract Spanish imaging scientists to the ESMI in order to strengthen the imaging community in Europe. youngESMI groups are part of the European Society for Molecular Imaging (ESMI). A yESMI group is initiated by students and young researcher and open to all young members of the ESMI. It is a “bottom-up” initiative which shall promote the formation of a regional network of young imaging scientists.
