The Child Development Centre is located in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
We are a team of approximately 50 employees in a number of different professions, including speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, developmental therapists, therapy assistants, and psychologists. We also have employees with backgrounds in nursing, teaching, social work, counselling and administration.
Therapists work in transdisciplinary teams to provide support to children and their families.
The Child Development Centre is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1979. We have grown a lot since then, and now have over 50 dedicated staff in Whitehorse and the communities and see over 1000 children a year. A board of directors is responsible for policy and governance of the Centre.
