We are the former majority shareholders in Yukos Oil. In 2014 an independent Arbitral Tribunal in The Hague ruled unanimously that the Russian Federation illegally expropriated our investment in Yukos for political reasons, and awarded us $50 billion in compensation. The Russian Federation steadfastly refuses to honor the judgment of the independent Tribunal and continues to fight us tooth and nail, but we won't rest until justice and the rule of law have prevailed.
