Yuppi Camp - therapeutic recreation camps for children with cancer, diabetes or other autoimmune diseases.
The camps have been taking place in Șăulia, Mureș county, Romania, since 2011. The 23 camps hosted almost 900 kids and more than 900 volunteers.
In camps, through activities like horseback riding, climbing, canoeing or archery, children learn new skills, improve their self confidence, discover abilities that they didn't even know they had.
Medical professionals have been present in all camps to ensure the physical safety of the participants.
In 2020, in the context the COVID-19 outbreak, the Yuppi management decided that, for everyone's safety, it is best that the camps take place exclusively online.
