Zach Ralston Racing

Zach Ralston began his racing career behind the wheel of a go-kart at just nine-years-old. A two-time IKF National Go-Kart Champion, Zach longed to race even through great personal tragedy with the loss of both his siblings in separate vehicle accidents. Racing was always something that Zach and his siblings did together. Determined to honor his siblings’ memories, Zach invested his savings to enroll in Smiley Sitton’s Outlaw Driving School after graduating high school where he had the opportunity to drive the 410 World of Outlaw Sprint Car. The school solidified his resolve to become a professional driver. Zach moved to North Carolina to immerse himself in the sport he loved. He started in the trenches, working for the Andy Belmont, Joey Herques and Justin Allgaier Motorsports teams doing everything from cleaning trailers to serving in the pit crew and eventually as car chief. This experience gave him a unique perspective, making him a better driver. Zach earned a spot in the driver seat once again running the Limited Late Model at Hickory Speedway in North Carolina. Zach is now a member of the ARCA Racing Series and has finished in the top 20 in races at Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Speedway and Iowa Speedway. In 2017 he raced for Andy Hillenberg at Lucas Oil Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway. Zach was a featured participant on Octane Academy Season 2 in 2013. Zach is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting causes that are close to his heart. He participates in ‘Iowa Walks for Epilepsy’ yearly to help raise money and awareness for people living with epilepsy, including his niece.
