About Zackenberg
Zackenberg Research Station and its branch facility at Daneborg, is a research and monitoring facility in Northeast Greenland. Zackenberg welcomes national and international scientists and students wishing to carry out research projects or run a course. In addition to individual research projects and programmes, a comprehensive environmental monitoring programme is operating at Zackenberg since 1995. This programme is coordinated with comparable monitoring in Nuuk and in Disko in West Greenland under the Greenland Ecosystem Monitoring programme.
