Zagrain is registered as a limited liability company by the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and licensed by the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) to deliver Nigerian grains, oilseeds and other crops to importers and wholesalers worldwide. We distribute products of best quality from the middle-belt region of Nigeria, most especially from Benue, which is famously called “The food basket of the nation”. Other states of origination include: Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba and Kaduna. We have a network with local farmers whose combined output result in significant scale for our strategically situated warehouses. MISSION • To establish a strong business bond with our Nigerian farmers. • To contribute to the robustness and resilience of the global supply chain associated with grains and oilseeds. HANDLING Small Trucks are used for hauling harvested grains, oilseeds and other crops from various farming communities to a gathering point, where the products are warehoused and transported further by heavy-duty trucks or train to the nearest processing facilities. Consignments of grains, oilseeds and other crops are inspected at origin in accordance with obligatory processing guidelines and quality standards applied by the independent pre-shipment inspection agent appointed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Heavy-duty trucks or train are then used to convey the processed cargo to the departure sea port for export. Stringent quality control at product delivery proclaims our hallmark. There is ample flexibility in packaging. Our products may be packed in customer choice bags for shipment in containers. Alternatively, shipment in bulk carriers with bulkhead is also possible with option of polyethylene liner if required.
