In order to further consolidate its presence in India ZIIC has entered into binding agreement with the joint venture partner for complete buy-out. This acquisition marks the first major foreign direct investment by a GCC airconditioning company in India and signifies the commitment of Zamils towards high potential Indian consumer and commercial air conditioning market through its differentiated HVAC Solutions to different market segments. ZAC India has its head office in New Delhi and has committed to establishing a pan India presence. It (ZAC India) has two fully integrated state of art manufacturing facilities (with combined installed production capacity of 1.2 million units per annum) &ndash in Nalagarh (in the state of Himachal Pradesh). The facilities include multiple assembly lines sheet metal Fabrication Shop plastic Injection Molding coil shop paint shop and state of the art multi-channel (MCHX) parallel flow condenser manufacturing unit supported by helium leak detectors. ZAC India also has a state of the Art design & testing laboratory manned by competent engineering staff. The product range of ZAC India currently comprises of residential and commercial air conditioners (it also manufactures for various international brands under OEM agreements) and is now in process of paving its way into the turn-key HVAC solutions leveraging more than 4 decade of Middle East capabilities and Zamil Steel India wider network of Builders.
