Zamil Solutions was established in response to the significant amounts of food wasted annually in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which costs the Kingdom more than 40 billion Saudi Riyals annually based on consumer spending, while the volume of waste according to the targeted commodities estimated to be 4.06 million tons, at a rate of up to 33.1% annually. That is, approximately one-third of the food in Saudi Arabia is wasted. The individual contribution is about 184 kilograms of wasted food annually. Saudi Arabia aims to reduce the rate of loss and waste by half by 2030, to reach 16%, with a value not exceeding 20 billion Saudi Riyals annually. To contribute to confronting this crisis, Zamil Solutions provides integrated solutions in the form of advanced services and products. Our aim is to efficiently utilize and preserve the remaining food resources by employing cutting-edge technology. Through the process of recycling various types of food waste, we are able to rapidly recycle and transform it into organic fertilizer that is perfectly suitable for agricultural purposes. Most importantly, this process is conducted without generating any harmful emissions that could damage the environment.
