Zarika Association

"Empowering minds, transforming communities." Zarika Association was established in 2022 by a team of youth workers, NGO professionals, philanthropists, and educators in Bulgaria. The NGO carries out activities for public benefit, expressed in contributing to the development of children, youth and adults from Bulgaria, Europe and other countries in the world by developing personal qualities and experience, social and emotional intelligence and sense of entrepreneurship and initiative, promoting intercultural and international dialogue, and humanitarianism. Our vision is to empower personal growth, entrepreneurship, intercultural dialogue, and humanitarianism through non-formal education. Our mission is to provide non-formal education opportunities in personal growth, entrepreneurship,arts and embodiment, intercultural dialogue, and humanitarianism and empower communities and individuals of all ages and backgrounds on local, regional, and international levels while advocating for equal human rights and sustainable development, and supporting social initiatives. Our values are: Inclusivity: embracing diversity and creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all people regardless of their backgrounds or identities. Empowerment: providing opportunities and resources to help individuals develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence so they can take positive action and make meaningful contributions to their communities. Creativity: encouraging innovative and imaginative thinking, and exploring new ideas and approaches in non-formal education. Collaboration: working together with partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to achieve shared goals and maximize positive impact. Accountability: being transparent, responsible, and ethical in all activities, and ensuring that the organization is accountable to its stakeholders and communities.
