Zeewaar

The first Dutch and organically certified seaweed farm of the country was acquired by The Seaweed Company in 2022, after years of inspiring leadership by the seaweed pioneers Rebecca Wiering and Jennifer Breaton. Zeewaar is located in the Oosterschelde National Park, allowing The Seaweed Company to grow seaweed organically and sustainably. It is the first seaweed farm in the EU to have implemented the highest food safety standards.
