Zephyr

Zephyr, the Western Music Society of Kamala Nehru College, Delhi University consists of 16 talented young women dedicated to promoting and celebrating A cappella music. This unique form of musical expression involves singing without instrumental accompaniment and creating polyphonic or multipart musical work through vocal harmonies and beatboxing. The society typically participates in competitions across the Delhi University circuit, as well as in outstation fests. Furthermore, Zephyr organizes events and performances to showcase the beauty and versatility of A cappella music. Apart from singing, we also collaborate with other societies as well as NGOs to promote good causes alongside attracting crowd through music. Whether it's contemporary pop songs, classical compositions, or innovative original pieces, Zephyr encourages creativity and camaraderie among singers who share a love for different forms of musical expression.
