π Zero Plastic Oceans (ZPO) is an NGO that focuses on creating mechanisms and incentives to encourage environmental cleanings focused on Ocean-Bound Plastic. To help the plastic value chain stop ocean pollution caused by plastic leakage, we created a certification program conceived as a tool to help the industry focus on removing OBP while ensuring the respect of social and ethical standards.

The program is comprehensive, composed of 2 subprograms: the OBP Recycling subprogram with 2 Standards (OBP Recycling Organization, OBP Collection Organization) and the OBP Neutrality subprogram with 2 Standards (OBP Neutralization Services Provider, OBP Plastic Producers & Users). These subprograms cover the complete value chain of OBP Recycling and Neutrality, ensuring no aspect is overlooked.
