ZeroF is an EU & SERI-funded project that brings together 12 research and industrial partners who will collaborate to develop safe-and-sustainable-by-design coating alternatives to replace PFAS compounds found in food packaging and textiles. Coordinated by VTT, the consortium will aim to develop coatings that have limited water absorption, high oil/grease resistance for packaging, and high water/oil repellency for textiles over the next 36 months.
