Zeromind

We are Zeromind, a volunteer based organization that works to spread awareness about the many benefits of meditation. Today we live in the world that is dominated with cut throat competition, lack of empathy and fast paced lifestyle. To be ahead in our game we feel a pressing need to adopt the aforesaid ways of living which leaves us devoid of mindful conduct, meaningful relationships, sharp sense of understanding or even a sense of understanding of our true selves. Meditation is a tool to understand the world and ourselves in a deep and transforming way. As the youth (approximately 18-29 years) constitute near about 22 per cent of India's population, we intend to pass on this gift of meditation to the younger generation for them to see and ripe it’s far reaching benefits. In order to achieve this, we conduct meditation sessions in schools/colleges/ educational institutes and other avenues so as to reach out to as many people as we can. We are a team of 6 people. The lines between the roles we perform are really blur and we help each other out with each other’s task irrespective of the office we bear, our job function, roles and responsibilities. Our vision is simple: 1. We want to strive for a world where happiness comes from within rather from materialistic things. 2. We would love to bring back and normalise the culture of empathy, be it at our corporate jobs or at our homes, or anywhere else in the cosmos. 3. Bringing out the best of human values through meditation. On this journey we wish to learn, grow, unlearn and relearn as much as we intend to do that to others.
