Founded in 2020, ZeroX Intelligence is an African AI company led by Rwandan students studying abroad in Canada, France, and the United States. Our mission is to tackle Africa’s challenges through open source collaboration, with a primary focus on artificial intelligence in healthcare, education, and agriculture.
With our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, and a sub-office in Kigali, Rwanda, we develop open source AI solutions that create real world impact. Currently, we are building Medikal 2.0, an AI powered medical bot and healthcare management system designed to revolutionize Africa’s healthcare sector by addressing the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) crisis, starting in Rwanda. Looking ahead, Medikal 3.0 will introduce AI driven medical image analysis and live audio consultations, enabling more advanced diagnostics and patient support.
In addition to healthcare and education, we are expanding our AI research into agriculture, developing solutions that enhance crop monitoring, disease detection, and precision farming to improve food security across Africa.
