In business since 1925, Zeskind's is a 4th generation family owned business with 2 locations including our corporate HQ located in Landover, MD. Zeskind's has grown from a well-known corner hardware store into the premier wholesale manufacturer and distributor of millwork products in the Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington DC metropolitan areas. With a strong foundation of providing materials for Historic Tax Credit projects, we are experts in supplying materials for CHAP, MD Historic Trust and Federal historic projects, and will consult with our customers on these types of projects. Our in-house manufacturing capabilities include an interior door-hanging line capable of over 200 door units per day, an exterior door shop specializing in heavily custom door units with short lead times, and a full custom shop to produce nearly anything that can be drawn on paper. With these competitive advantages and control over quality in the manufacturing process, Zeskind's is now the best source for millwork, windows and doors, including vinyl windows, wood & wood clad windows, cabinetry, mouldings, interior/exterior doors of wood, fiberglass and steel, and also stair/rail systems. Zeskind's has been on a growth trajectory since the 4th generation owner, Rick Miller Jr., acquired the remaining portion of the company from his parents through family buyout in March 2019. After opening the first dedicated Door & Window Showroom in Arnold, MD in 2019, Zeskind's then acquired the assets of Lamar & Wallace in 2020, located in Landover MD. Operations and manufacturing were then streamlined and consolidated to the new location. In 2023, to provide the showroom with a more permanent home, Zeskind's acquired the assets of Clement Hardware in Severna Park, MD. This gave the opportunity to expand the Door & Window Showroom into the back of the store, providing a much larger showcase for the brands we represent and our own talented team.
