Ly Xīnzhèn Zhǎngsūn Brown

Lydia X. Z. Brown is available for public presentations on various topics related to disability rights and disability justice to your community group, college or university, nonprofit, government agency, or company. Their focus is disability at the nexus of race, gender, and queerness. Lydia has worked with groups as small as two and as large as over one thousand to provide dynamic, provocative, and compelling presentations and workshops that spur thought and build capacity for the hard work of actually making change happen. They have extensive experience providing expert consulting on radical access and inclusion to professionals within higher education, disability services provision, special education, social services, state and local government, independent living, and nonprofit management. They have also worked extensively within the developmental disabilities and autistic self-advocacy communities to support self and community empowerment and organizing.
