Zigi's Fireplaces & Woodburners is a small family business established in 1982 with six fireplace and woodburner showrooms in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, Halstead, Ipswich and Norwich We offer a complete range of products and varying level of service from full installations to the supply of individual items. Visit our extensive showrooms displaying a large selection of woodburners together with fireplaces in many materials including wood, stone, marble & cast iron. These come in an array of styles from a traditional stone fireplace to a contemporary hole in the wall fire. We also offer a wide range of gas (LPG & NG) and electric fires, accessories, grates, fronts, tiles, sundries, tools, and firebacks. Zigi’s can install and commission any of our range of stoves or fireplaces in your home or business. We can undertake all building work and installation whether it is a gas installation or of necessary flue components, including stainless steel twin wall insulated flue for homes with no class 1 chimney, and flexible liners in existing aged chimneys. By choosing Zigi’s engineers to install and commission your appliance you know you are getting the most qualified engineers to carry out the job. On completion of installation of a solid fuel stove or fire, we will issue you with a copy of the HETAS certification notifying the local planning office of the new installation. All gas installations will be registered with GAS SAFE REGISTER. (previously undertaken by CORGI). All solid fuel work is carried out in accordance with Document J of the building regulations and HETAS. We are CHAS accredited (SSIP) and fully-insured for work on commercial projects.
