Zingi Environmental Conservation

Mazingira in Swahili means the environment. Zingi is a shortened version of maZINGIra. Our overall goal is to seek and get climate justice for Africa as a continent. This will take the form of climate finance to fight the effects of climate change (mitigation and adaptation) for local communities. The first step in this process is to educate the community on climate change, nature and biodiversity loss and pollution and waste. This is what we are doing with the content we create for YouTube, TikTok, and newspapers/ magazines. In us, you have a passionate ally in educating the public about environmental matters and climate change. We are also invested in amplifying the voices of the Most Affected People and Areas (MAPA) We run the Smiles for Trees Campaign where we get people to smile, collect those smiles and convert them into trees that we plant. The idea is to compliment someone and when they smile, we count it as a tree that we will plant. Planting trees is the simplest and easiest solution, among many, for tackling climate change.
