Founded in Melbourne, Australia during a time when the world needed a little more sparkle! As a child, I revelled in the boundless creativity Melbourne had to offer, whether it be street art, fashion, ballet or theatre. A tiny dancer at heart, I started to create embellished hand crafted pieces for my recital costumes from a young age – from there my love of everything shiny was born. Always having an infatuation with the fashion industry, at 17 I became a Qualified Pattern maker & went on to do further studies of Fashion and Textiles. Encompassing my love of travel, once I had completed my studies I began to follow my heart to far away cities; landing myself in London. I went on a family vacation to celebrate my Mothers birthday; only not get on the plane home and found myself living in Knightsbridge for the next 2 and a half years. In London I immersed myself into the big city lifestyle and began working as a Premium Luxury Children’s Fashion Buyer; curating wardrobes for the children of A listers and some of the most well known household names. Returning to Melbourne, I brought a little sparkle & shine back with me. Living by the motto ‘Ordinary life does not interest me’ ZINNIAN captures exactly that. An essence of fun, playfulness and a touch of glam. Each garment, a treasured item, every crystal applied with precision and each stitch placed by hand. But above all, ZINNIAN pieces are made with love. I look forward to going on this adventure with you. Who knows where we will end up next ... AMY
